Katrin Eigendorf is a reporter and correspondent.

Katrin Eigendorf has been working for ZDF since 1999, initially as a reporter in the then ZDF main editorial office for foreign policy. From January 2015 to April 2018, she was a correspondent at the ZDF studio in Moscow and reported, among other things, on the conflict in Ukraine. The studio is responsible for reporting from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, among others. Since May 2018, Katrin Eigendorf has been in the reporter pool of the ZDF main editorial office with a focus on reporting in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Russia, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey. In 2021, she reported from Afghanistan on the return of the Taliban. She has been reporting from Ukraine on the war in Ukraine since the end of February 2022.
