Iryna Vikyrchak is a cultural manager, poetess, and translator.

Iryna Vikyrchak is a Ukrainian cultural manager, poetess, and translator. Born on 17 May 1988 in the town of Zalishchyky, Ternopil region.

For nearly ten years she has been working in cultural management and diplomacy. In the past, she chaired the Meridian Czernowitz Festival (festival, residency. publisher); founder of Intermezzo Short Story Festival and Cultour.Ua literary tours. Curator of Ukrainian events within the frameworks of the Conrad Festival (Krakow), Read My World Festival (Amsterdam), Leipziger Buchmesse (Leipzig), and others.

She worked as director of the EU’s Creative Europe National Bureau and Director Deputy of the Development Department at the Lviv City Council.

Lector of the author’s course "Creative Writing" and two poetry collection and stories. Translator of Paula McLain’s novel "The Paris Wife." She is currently working on a dissertation about the English-language works of poetess Rose Ausländer under supervision of Prof. P. Rykhlo.

In October 2019, Nobel Prize Laureate in literature, Olga Tokarczuk, invited Iryna to join as her assistant and manager, including for the work at the upcoming Olga Tokarczuk Foundation to be established in Wroclaw (Poland).
