I have been involved in urban renewal and revitalization, historic preservation, main street planning and design, tourism development, and economic development for over 40 years. Short description:

I have been a planner for over 40 years. I have done downtown plans, main street strategies, regional tourism plans, urban design strategies and heritage plans and designs. I have worked everywhere from the very microscale up to a regional scale (for example Southeast Asia). Always concerned about the nature of the skills and knowledge necessary to make things happen. My dream is that we can look at holistic and integrated approaches and do away with the sign away working. Really concerned about helping these mind set changes.

View from your window:

I live in a large city and as I look at my window from the 22nd floor I see the Toronto skyline from the northeast to the southwest

What's your contribution?

I look forward to contributing ideas and concepts based on my experience. Always looking to collaborate. Very much enjoy working with young professionals in communities and making things happen. Given my experience hopefully I can transfer some knowledge and at the same time learn something new.

What brings you here?

Always looking for networks and colleagues that share similar ideas and concerns.

What's the most important?

Most important is that we always look for new and creative ways to solve the problems facing cities and towns using interdisciplinary and holistic approaches.
