Gianluca Migliarotti was born in Naples and has attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. He’s the founder of Kid Dandy, a production company, and co-founder of Pommella Napoli, a company making bespoke trousers.
Migliarotti is the director of several films on Italian tailoring, craft, and menswear, among them I Colori di Antonio, a portrait of the tailor Antonio Liverano, and O’Mast, the highly acclaimed portrait of Neapolitan tailors.
